At the top bar click Widgets then click on CH Overlay. On the overlay it says Open Trainer, activate it and then press connect button.

2. Our new Aurora Mobile Android App is now available in the Google Play Store. We appreciate everyone's patience as we tested and waited for it to be reviewed by Google.

Next up is our BETA test of the iOS (Apple) App and then submission to the Apple store. If you would like to help beta test it and know how to side-load .IPA files, then email me at [email protected].

Lastly, for those without a premium account or with a monthly/yearly account, we have created a Cheat Happens Jump Start Bundle in our CH Store. So, what's new with Aurora you ask?
over 1 year ago – Tue, Jun 28, 2022 at 12:50:40 AM

Hey guys, someone had asked that I post an update on where things stand with Aurora and while things have mostly settled down with Aurora itself, we do continue adding options to it such as:

Changelog 1.3.4
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[+] Added smooth scrolling to 'Trainers' page lists
[+] BREAKING CHANGE: Clicking on installed game will now also open the trainer (if available). If the trainer for this game is on the favorite list, it will open your favorite trainer, otherwise it will open the latest trainer.
[+] Added two context menu items for installed games to only launch game or only open trainer
[~] The header menu width is now dynamical and collapse if window gets shrunk
[~] Decreased minimum Aurora window width
[~] Aurora Logo and version is now permanently visible
[~] If you have chosen to not open the trainer on process watcher dialog, you will not get ask again for this game next time
[!] Fixed game title exceeds available width on trainer selection page

Changelog 1.3.1
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[+] Added a new tab to 'Trainers' page which shows your installed games
[+] You can now execute multiple cheats with single hotkey
[~] Downloading an offline trainer should be faster now for most people
[~] If SSL verification failed on auto update it will tell you to download Aurora from the website instead of pointing to the log file
[!] Fixed an error when trying to download an offline trainer
[!] Fixed new trainer options sometimes have same hotkeys than existing cheats
[!] Fixed downloading a specific trainer from favorites downloaded latest trainer instead

The biggest takeaways here are the fact that Aurora can now automatically detect your game collection across multiple distributions and put them on a tab so you can easily launch trainers for any of those games. You may also choose to only launch the GAME or the TRAINER using a right click on one of these games. You now have the ability to execute multiple cheats with a single hotkey so you can make that single MONSTER cheat you want from a single button press. As we now allowing the majority of our trainers to be purchased separately, we also added a tab under trainers to list these individually purchased trainers. If YOU have a killer option you would like to see in Aurora, we want to know! We have implemented probably 80-90% of user requests into the app so far.

What's NEXT?

We have almost completed our integration with the XBOX Gamebar Overlay which can be used to activate cheats in-game. Our new ANDROID App is in final testing stages and we hope to have it online within 2-3 weeks. After that, we tackle Apple/iOS. Also, what started as a simple "remote control" for our trainer options, the mobile apps has morphed into a mini-Aurora with additional features we think you are going to love. We will also soon be implementing PayPal upgrades directly through the app so less switching back and forth. That also reminds me that we are also moving a few of the trainer related options like update requests and option requests to Aurora soon, again to ease the switching back and forth between web and Aurora.

That's pretty much it for now. Sorry I don't update as often as I used to, I just didn't want to clog everyone's inbox with stuff they might not be interested in. Remember you can always access the latest changelog (for Main and Preview channels) and option requests/bug reports on our Aurora message boards here: https://www.cheathappens.com/boards.asp

One last thing, this month's Backerkit Sale will be coming to an end on July 1. Right now you can get a LIFETIME OF LIFETIME PLUS + 2 MILLION REWARD CREDITS  (RC) and a FREE CH HOODIE (free delivery worldwide) for only $350. Other items have been marked down as well.

Until next time,

Officially DOUBLED Our Initial Kickstarter!
almost 2 years ago – Sun, May 22, 2022 at 12:07:32 AM

Hey guys,

I first just wanted to say how THANKFUL we are for everyone that both originally contributed to our Kickstarter campaign and to those that have contributed to the continuation of that campaign through our Backerkit Store as we have officially now raised over $745,000 from our $11,000 goal. We raised $351K originally and then another almost $400K since then. Amazing on all levels! Thank you!

Aurora on Aya Neo Next

As everyone knows, our All-in-One, AURORA is in full swing. We continue to add new updates and features every few weeks. Most recently we certified AURORA on the AYA NEO NEXT handheld console. Unlike the STEAM DECK, this device runs native Windows and has an interface which supports Steam, Epic, GOG, EA Play, etc. You can easily load Aurora on the device and with the press of a button, alt tab to the desktop and activate your options. We are still waiting on Valve to update their base software to allow Aurora to run natively on their device, but in the meantime, our game-hacking software CoSMOS is running natively on the Steam Deck which allows you to easily hack the majority of Steam games.

CoSMOS for Steam Deck

We are currently working on our new MOBILE APPS that are built exclusively for Aurora with no code-entry to get connected, just quickly jump right into your favorite trainer and remote-control all of your trainer AND editor options from your phone or tablet. We will soon be looking for BETA testers of our mobile apps before their official release and will be accepting those Kickstarter and Backerkit TIER 7 donors (AKA those with a Lifetime of Lifetime PLUS) first until our beta team is full and if not full, we will simply move down the list to TIER 6, 5, etc. You can still upgrade to TIER 7 through the continuation of our Kickstarter over at Backerkit if interested.

Cheat Happens Aurora Mobile App

Once we are done with mobile, we will be looking for new features and functionality to add to Aurora as we also begin the reboot of our website with a new look and slimmed down interface to make navigating much easier and less bouncing between Aurora and the website. Do you have an idea for a cool feature that we should add to Aurora? We want to know! We have an entire message board, open to everyone, just for that! PLEASE utilize it as it's the best way of knowing what you guys want to see in the app that we haven't thought of.

One big feature added since my last update:

Everyone can now download and use Aurora, including GUESTS and FREE MEMBERS. We have added three FREE PASS trainers that we switch out each week which anyone and everyone can access with ALL features enabled. We try and coordinate with the free games offered at EPIC and other places and then also feature BRAND NEW releases, not old stale trainers that no one uses any more. For example, right now we have our BORDERLANDS 3 +70 trainer for free to go along with EPIC's offering of the game for free. Then we also have our OLD WORLD +20 trainer and BRIGANDINE +17 trainer, all for FREE until we rotate them out again next week. You will find these trainers on the Aurora landing page marked with a green FREE PASS banner.

Download Aurora for FREE!

That's all I can think of for now. I will post another update once our new mobile apps are available in the app stores so you guys can download them and enhance your experience with Aurora.

Until then, you guys know how to reach me. But PLEASE DM me for personal comments that pertain to just you and do not reply to this update with them as we don't want you to accidentally expose personal info to the world, and I also cannot reply to your public comments if they pertain to a personal issue or question/problem.

PS -- If you purchased something from our Backerkit Store and have not received it, it could be because your email address doesn't match the one you used for your CH account. Please email ([email protected]) or DM me and we will get it sorted for you!

Thanks!

Quick Update + Flash Sale!
almost 2 years ago – Wed, Apr 27, 2022 at 05:54:43 AM

Hey backers! It's been a little while since my last update so I wanted to share a few things with everyone. First, a couple of things that are upcoming for our AIO (Aurora).

1. New Mobile App

We are starting from scratch on a new mobile app that will be compatible with Aurora. It will start out as a remote control for your trainers so that you can change BOTH option states and editor values and will then eventually transition to more of an "Aurora on the Go" type of app. We're hoping the mobile app (both Android and iOS) will be available by the end of May, but it may take longer depending on how many features we can squeeze in. If we don't make our June 1 deadline, then certainly no longer than July 1.

We recently completed the design phase and are now working on beginning coding.

A couple of screens for you guys:

Splash Screen

Editor Screen

2. New Gamebar Overlay

Similar to our current in-game overlay for choosing your trainer options, this will take it further and not need to inject into the game, which should cut down on some crashes that people experience with certain trainers, but be completely resizable and work much better. You guys will love it. Unfortuntely I don't have any screens I can share at this time, but coding on it is going well.

That's all that is new right now other than a new version of Aurora being released later today (v1.2.5). Here are the fixes and changes from the last few updates (including today's):

[+] Added two new themes (Blended for Light and Dark themes)

[+] You can now add standalone trainers to your favorite list
[+] When pressing the 'Launch Game' button and you don't have the path specified, Aurora checks your installed games for a possible match
[!] Fixed launching standalone trainers may fail
[!] Fixed unchecking 'Remember my platform choice' is bugged
[!] Fixed cannot click on tracked trainers

[+] Added a new option under 'Appearance' to always open Aurora main window at the center of your screen
[~] Clicking on 'Boost Update Priority' now also redirects to the request page instead of opening the website
[~] Reduced width of the date column in trainer queue
[!] On 'Trainers' page you can now also click on a game cover while holding down CTRL
[!] Fixed unchecking 'Remember my platform choice' is not saved
[!] Fixed 'Remember my platform choice' skips multi trainer selection when they're for different games

[+] Added trainer queue to 'Requests' page
[+] Added search to the special thanks list
[+] Adding a visual feedback if email address on login is invalid as some users tried to login with username instead
[~] Replaced the 'No offline key found' with a more helpful message
[~] Extended logging on mobile connection failures
[!] Fixed a bug where you still get asked for selecting distribution multiple times
[!] If a new Aurora update is available you will only get asked once about updating now
[!] Fixed an issue where trainer rating is not applied correctly

[+] Expanding favorite bar is now animated
[+] Showing a hint explaining how to add a trainer to favorites to 'new' users
[~] Settings are saved more often than just on exit
[~] Remember platform choice checkbox is now centered
[~] The overall trainer rating is now displayed with heart icons (again)
[~] Cheat customizations with a slider are more precise now

Hopefully that catches everyone up with what has been going on since my last update post.

Also, don't miss our FLASH SALE! going on right now in our ONLINE STORE. If you missed getting any of the rewards from some of the higher pledge levels, now is your chance to snap some of them up and at a significant discount but for a VERY LIMITED TIME. We also added a few new items NOT available during our Kickstarter campaign. Here's a few that stand out:

30% OFF ON LIFETIME OF LIFETIME PLUS

42% OFF ON TWO YEARS OF LIFETIME PLUS

24% OFF ON 500,000 REWARD CREDITS / 1M FOR LIFETIME PLUS MEMBERS

50% OFF ON 50 PRIZE WHEEL SPINS

50% OFF ON A LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP OR LIFETIME UPGRADE

...AND MORE!

That's it, until next time. Thanks as always for supporting this project and I hope we haven't let you down so far. And we have so much further to go with it thanks to your generous funding.

Lots Have Changed in 3 Weeks, Including CoSMOS Integration
about 2 years ago – Thu, Mar 24, 2022 at 04:05:45 AM

Hello everyone,

I haven't posted an update since we officially launched Aurora back on March 1, 2022. We've seen quite a few changes since then. Let's run down the important ones:

1. You can now FREEZE editor values, a feature not available in earlier builds.

2. Added a new COMPACT MODE to the trainer option view for those with lower resolutions.

3. Several new THEMES added including Black Beauty, Beautiful in Burgundy and The Red Queen.

4. Added option to REMEMBER all of the trainer options you had activated (per trainer) to easily re-activate them all again on future playthroughs.

5. Lots of SPEED and performance enhancements made. Much faster now all-around.

6. Our gamehacking software CoSMOS has been re-worked and is now fully integrated into Aurora with a new, Cheat Engine style interface. Mostly beginner version at this time to avoid bloatware.

7. Several BUGS squashed thanks to user reporting.

...so as you can see, we have been busy. In fact we have yet another new version to release in another day or so. Be sure and leave your feedback, bug reports and feature requests on our Aurora message boards as we try and integrate almost ALL things that are requested.

In other news, today we have released the world's first (that we know of, as of this writing) native gamehacking software (CoSMOS) built specifically for the newly released STEAM DECK. While it's not Aurora, it's a great first step in navigating the difficult Linux+SteamOS combination. Luckily we had already made a few Linux trainers in the past along with a mostly finished CoSMOS. We hope that we are able to do more with the device as time goes on and more people have the devices in-hand. We are rooting for Valve on this one!

Lastly, in our CH STORE, you can still grab the highly sought after LIFETIME OF LIFETIME PLUS which now includes 1 MILLION Reward Credits (RC), 20 Prize Wheel Spins and access to 200 brand new avatars to spice up your Cheat Happens website profile. We are also now offering a CUSTOM AURORA THEME AND AVATAR service for cheap, half-price Lifetime memberships, 10/20 Prize Wheel Spins and 2 Years of Lifetime PLUS. We also have lots of CH swag if you're looking for a CH shirt, hoodie, hat, backpack and more. No idea how much longer the store will remain open or these great deals will last so act fast if you see something that you want!

That's all for now. We have more new items coming down the pike so keep a watchful eye on the CH website and Aurora notifications, now built into the app.

Sincerely,

Chris (PWizard)
